Domestic energy production, already on the road.

Roughly three million Class 8 tractors are in service in the United States. Every one of them destroys recoverable energy on every mile. Gravity turns that fleet into distributed domestic energy production without building a single new plant, transmission line, or permit.

Energy dominance at the vehicle layer

Energy security has always been measured in generation and transmission. Gravity adds a third layer: recovery at the point of motion, distributed across the vehicles the economy already depends on, with no siting, no interconnection queue, and a domestic supply chain.

Each vehicle produces a modeled 20,000 kWh per year and offloads its surplus to the facility it returns to. At fleet scale that is measurable domestic energy production from assets that are already funded, already deployed, and already moving.

American-designed, American-assembled

Gravity is headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, founded and led by a service-disabled Marine Corps combat veteran, and built on a domestic supply chain. Its five issued U.S. patents protect the architecture at home and in 18 additional countries.

The engineering partner, Pratt Miller Engineering, brings program history with the U.S. Army and DARPA and a decade of defense co-development.

Onboard power for defense platforms

Deployed platforms carry growing electrical loads for communications, sensors, and mission systems, and they feed those loads with fuel hauled to the edge. Gravity produces power from the platform's own movement over the terrain it already crosses.

Generator independence

Reduce or eliminate towed and auxiliary generators for onboard systems. Fewer fuel convoys, fewer thermal and acoustic signatures.

Platform compatibility

Works with internal combustion, hybrid, and electric drivetrains. The system lives in the suspension, not the powertrain.

Forward energy

Vehicles returning to a forward operating base offload surplus to base storage, extending the base's energy endurance with assets it already fields.

Handling

The pressurized architecture improves roll control and load balance over rough terrain as a byproduct of the energy function.

Engagement

Gravity is in active dialogue with the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, and congressional offices with energy and appropriations jurisdiction. Gravity's advisory board includes Major General James Linder, U.S. Army (Retired), and Emily King, recipient of the Secretary of Defense Medal.
